Guest Blog post by J. Scott on her experience writing Dominant Business. A few people on twitter have asked me how I came to the premise and the details of my book "Dominant Business". The story is a bisexual submissive romance between a two women. Bianca and Ruby. Bianca Ristretto, is a hard nosed Business woman, whose business is sending successful partners to teach "real" business classes. She is dominant by nature and has a sexy secret that plays out as a major plot in the story. Ruby Phillips,is the student who has no interest in business but needs it to graduate. Being a medical student, she doesn't understand the need for intro to business classes, but it's what they want. Needless to say, she's not very good to start off and it causes some problems. The big part of the story is the Dom/sub relationship that builds between the two women. The power play and the evolution of the mindset and between Ruby and Bianca are a constant current in the story. I've always been a firm believer in the psychological development of a character in stressful situations. So when I wrote this, I wanted to explore how a young mind came to grow and accept certain levels of domination. For those who might wonder, yes I've experienced a certain level of the Submissive mindset in the time prior to writing this story, so while my experience may not span the depth of the story, I do feel there is a truth to the nature of what I am exploring. I feel the beautiful thing about this story is that despite the domination and submission aspects, both characters grow out of the person they were when the story started. While there are some pretty intense things asked of Ruby, seeing the growth, I feel gives this story the emotional connection that most romance or erotica stories lack. I can't wait to hear the fan reviews of my book "Dominant Business - An LGBT Submissive Romance" released 30 April 2020. J.
